USING THE STAA MEMBER SUPPORT SITE AND STUDENT ZONE

  1. We recommend that users DO NOT check the "Remember Me" box on the STAA Member Support Site login screen as this creates challenges for other users on the same computer that try to gain access to their accounts.  
  2. There is a "Sign Out" link at the top of the Student Zone.  Go to that link now and click the "Log out" button if you are experiencing trouble switching from one user to another (e.g. from a student's account to a teaching-parent's account). 


TEACHING-PARENTS

  • If each child in your home does not have their own user account on a shared, family computer, then best practices are for each person who accesses the Member Support Site to use a unique browser.  For example, your 11th grader might use only Google Chrome, your 9th grader might only use FireFox, and you might only use Microsoft Edge.  This practice guards against the trouble with cookies if any individual using the computer forgets to sign out of the Member Support Site.
