Semester reporting or course access extensions; $25.00 per month per student for five months or until canceled by teaching-parent.

This extends your students' enrollment one month at a time to accommodate year-round schedules, courses that will not be completed in June, and semester reporting packets that will not be ready for mailing by June 30th.

Be sure to request this extension in June while your enrollment is still active.  During the extension teaching-parents and students will have access to the Student Zone, standard forum and email support from advisors, an extension for submitting the semester reporting packets, and will be able to schedule any unused support appointments that were part of the original enrollment services package.  Teaching-parents may also purchase additional advisor support appointments to discuss the extended school year.

Extensions do not apply to planning services for the next school year.  To discuss the next school year, your student's enrollment services packages will need to be renewed through the Annual Enrollment Application process.

Process for Semester 1 Extensions

Speak with your advisor during one of your appointments or by email if you will be unable to mail your students' reporting packets by February 28th.  Your advisor will activate an extension for you and assign a special due date within the month of March.  The extension fee of $25.00 per month will go into effect for the Semester 1 reporting packets if they are not delivered to the office by the special March extension.  The Semester 1 extension must be requested in February.

Process for Semester 2 Extensions

Speak with your advisor in June about when you expect the reporting to be completed.  Based on your comments during the extension request, your advisor will activate an extension for you and assign a special due date within the month of July.

It is unlikely you will need to pay an extension fee at all if the paperwork is only delayed a few weeks and everything is wrapped up and in the mail during July.

The extension fee of $25.00 per month will go into effect for the Semester 2 reporting packets if they are not delivered to the office by the special July extension.

Process for Course Extensions

Speak with your advisor in June about when you expect your student to complete his or her courses.  The Student Zone web resources and course pages are available to students until the end of July.  Course extensions that roll into August and beyond are $25.00 per month until canceled by the teaching-parent.

All extension fees due must be paid before the semester reporting packets can be reviewed and transcripts developed.  The extensions fees must be paid promptly; late paperwork cannot be stored indefinitely.
