I’m just curious, since we have two high schoolers this year, do we still only get 4 High School Progress check appointments?

The 2017-2018 enrollment services include one advisor appointment per family per month and/or one High School Progress Check appointment per family per month.  The software update that took place over Christmas break divvied up appointments left on the enrollment services for 2017-18 between academic advisor support, high school progress check, and semester reporting packet review appointments.  If you would prefer to convert any of your appointments from one type to another, just let us know so you end up on the phone with the person you and your students need.

Topical seminars -- the teleconferences dedicated to one historical cycle, course, orientation, or semester reporting -- are free for member families that RSVP for the seminar as long as the seminar is directly applicable to the students enrolled in the program (for instance, the student must be in high school to participate in high school seminars or the family must have at least one student enrolled in the Report Card/Transcript Option to join a semester reporting how-to seminar).

Next year, the enrollment services for a family with four students will look like this:

  • (x 75-minute planning appointments) + (x 45-minute support appointments) + (x 30-minute semester reporting review appointments if any students in the family are enrolled in the Report Card/Transcript Option)

>> Scroll down the Annual Enrollment page for a handy table of all of the enrollment services packages >>

Other features of the 2018-19 enrollment services:

  • Support sessions are longer, increasing from 30-minute to 45-minute sessions
  • The support appointments can be with your academic advisor or your high school advisor.  You will have a pool of session minutes to draw upon, not an assigned number of appointments.  Choose the type of appointment that you need when you go to schedule the appointment and your enrollment services code keeps track of everything for you.
  • The support appointments can be scheduled on any timeframe that you wish -- every day, every week, every month, etc.  If you want more time with an advisor is desired, add as many appointments as you wish for $35 per 45-minute session.
  • Topical seminars -- the teleconferences dedicated to one historical cycle, course, orientation, or semester reporting -- are free for member families that RSVP for the seminar as long as the seminar is directly applicable to the students enrolled in the program (for instance, the student must be in high school to participate in high school seminars or the family must have at least one student enrolled in the Report Card/Transcript Option to join a semester reporting how-to seminar).
