"Regarding the recent email that went out regarding charges for phone conferences with you......Did I misinterpret it?  Do we have to pay for our calls with you now?  I even spoke to 2 other friends whom use STAA in our HS group, and they were confused as well."

Advisor appointments are still available on a monthly basis for no charge for the 2017-2018 school year.  However, member families will need to enter their email address in the "Redeem package" field on the appointment scheduler to claim their free monthly appointments.

Monthly support appointments in 2017-2018 are 30 minutes long.

You may purchase additional appointments if you wish to speak with your advisor more than once per month during the 2017-2018 academic year.

The system changed slightly for the 2018-2019 school year.  The number of appointments included with enrollment is based on the number of students enrolled in the program.  Also, the length of each advisor appointment will increase from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.

You may purchase as many additional 2018-2019 advisor appointments as often as you wish (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).

Here is a snippet from the Annual Enrollment page discussing the appointments included with 2018-2019 enrollment:

"Personal one-on-one academic counseling by telephone is the heart of the St. Thomas Aquinas Academy program.  After the initial planning appointment for the academic year, each member family has access to one planning follow-up appointment and then two additional appointments per student with either their family's academic advisor or their high school advisor.  Additional advisor appointments may be purchased as often as desired throughout the school year for $35.00 for a 45-minute session."

Teleconferences/Webinars are free for member families that enter the "Redeem package" code provided when they "reserve seats" for the teleconference.  The codes can be found on the Announcement board of the Teaching-Parent Resource Library for High School and Semester Reporting.
