Included in enrollment for high school students and their teaching-parents are an assortment of live, Q&A Zoom seminars hosted by our high school advisor.
- Students and parents that are just starting high school with St. Thomas Aquinas Academy are invited to attend a High School Orientation Seminar in August or September.
- Parents with students registered for the Transcript Option are invited to join a Semester Reporting Seminar just before or just after their first quarter.
- High school students and parents may also drop in to ask quick questions during the live Q&A/Open Office Hours seminars that are offered twice each school week.
Reserve Spaces in a Seminar
Seminars do not draw on the private advisor meetings that are included in your family's enrollment package. Ignore the 'Redeem Package' button and field on the appointment scheduled when reserving spaces in any of the seminars.
Is there a limit to how many seminars my teens and I can attend?
There is no formal limit to the number of orientation and Open Office Hours seminars that enrolled families may use. The seminars are not private tutoring sessions, though, so reach out to request a link to purchase and schedule tutoring sessions for your high school student. Furthermore, the family's enrollment must be active (or have a student registered for live classes) to gain access to the seminars.
If you have private matters to discuss, schedule a private advisor meeting with your enrollment package. Click here to open the private meeting scheduler.
The high school advisor will not have your family's or student's files open during seminars.
To discuss matters that are private and specific to your students, schedule private meetings.
Seminars are best for "how-to" questions, "where-to-find" questions,
and questions to clarify instructions in the course plans and study guides.
