Is it too late for me to sign up my [high school] son for this school year and catch up through the summer? I saw online it is only allowing next year enrollment?

Yes, our full enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is closed.  The enrollment for the full program closes in November or earlier (depending on the number of enrolled families and the number of students in each family). That said, we’d still love to support your family, and there are options to move forward—whether you’re planning for next year or ready to start now.

For the 2025-2026 school year, you can enroll your son in our full K-12 program now [March 2025]. He’d work on placement tests and collaborate with an advisor to build a full academic plan for next year. It includes personalized course planning, advisor support, and STAA Student Zone resources from August 1, 2025, through July 15, 2026. See more here: https://www.staahomeschool.com/enrollment.

If you’d like him to start now, our Independent Study with Online Support option is a great fit. He’d get access to STAA Student Zone course pages, quizzes, and Q&A forums tied to our study guides. It’s perfect for his pace. A strong starting point could be the U.S. Studies cycle, focusing on Semester 1: U.S. Studies IB (+math). Once you sign up, we’ll schedule a consultation to tailor his semester options together—ensuring it’s just right for him. He could begin now and continue through July 15, 2025, with a two-week break before the new school year starts August 1. It’s $70 for the first month and $35 monthly after that—a simple way to keep him moving forward until full enrollment.
