Your “My Courses” page is your home base in Moodle—the place where you can see all the courses in which you are currently enrolled. Below you will find a guide to each feature available on this page.

How Do I Change How My Courses Are Displayed?

Near the top of the page, you will find a view toggle that lets you switch between three display options:

  • Card view — The default display, which shows each course as a visual tile.
  • List view — A compact, text-based list of your courses.
  • Summary view — Displays each course with a brief description.

Choose whichever view works best for you!

How Do I Sort My Courses?

You can sort your course list by course name or by last accessed. Sorting by last accessed is especially helpful if you want to jump right back into the course you were working on most recently.

How Do I Star (Favorite) a Course?

Each course card has a small three-dot menu (⋮) in the corner. Click on it and select “Star this course.” Starring a course is like bookmarking it—it marks the course as a favorite so you can quickly filter your view to show only your starred courses. This is a great way to keep your most active courses front and center.

How Do I Filter My Courses?

Near the top of the page, you will find a filter dropdown menu. You can filter your courses by the following categories:

  • All (except removed from view) — The default view.
  • In progress — Courses currently underway.
  • Future — Courses that have not yet started.
  • Past — Courses that have ended.
  • Starred — Courses you have marked as favorites.
  • Removed from view — Courses you have hidden from your main list.

What Does “Remove from View” Do?

When you click the three-dot menu (⋮) on a course card and select “Remove from view,” that course will disappear from your default course list.

Important: Removing a course from view does not unenroll you from the course. You still have full access to all of the course materials, assignments, and grades. The course is simply tucked out of sight to keep your dashboard tidy.

This feature is especially useful when you have finished a course but are still enrolled, or when you want to focus only on the courses you are actively working in this semester.

How Do I Restore a Course I Removed from View?

Restoring a hidden course is simple:

  1. Go to the filter dropdown at the top of your “My Courses” page.
  2. Select “Removed from view.”
  3. Find the course you would like to restore.
  4. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on that course and choose “Restore to view.”

The course will reappear on your main course list right away.

Will Removing a Course from View Affect My Grades or Enrollment?

Not at all! Think of it as putting a book back on the shelf rather than returning it to the library. The book is still yours; it is just not on your desk at the moment. Removing a course from view is not permanent, and it does not affect your enrollment or your grades in any way.

How Do I See All the Courses I Am Registered For?

If you have removed any courses from view on your “My Courses” page, that page may not show your complete course list. To see every course you are registered for this school year, click on “My Grades” instead. The “My Grades” page will display all of your courses regardless of whether you have removed any from view.

Missing a course? If a course you are expecting to see does not appear on your “My Grades” list, please ask your parents to email your advisor and request that the course be added to your Course Registration Form. Once that form is updated, the course can be added to your online access as well.
