How Do We Register for Live Classes?

Explore This Year’s Live Classes

Registering for live classes is a three-step journey: explore the offerings, talk with the high school advisor, and complete your registration and payment.

Step 1: Explore the Offerings

Start at staahomeschool.com/live, where you will find course descriptions, meeting times, the registration timeline, policies, and the full academic calendar, along with the downloadable Live Classes and Advisor Grading brochure. The Course Selection Worksheet at the back of the brochure lists current pricing and course options.

Step 2: Meet with the High School Advisor

The best place to start is a free consultation with the high school advisor. There is no charge and no appointment credit is used for this conversation. Together you will talk through your student’s background, find the right placement, and review the Course Selection Worksheet to build an academic plan. Schedule your consultation here.

Step 3: Complete Registration and Payment

After your consultation, submit your registration selections and payment. You may pay in full by credit card or check at the time of registration, or request the payment plan, which divides the fees into four automatic monthly installments (an activation fee applies; please see the current brochure for pricing). Registering early each spring offers savings on Writing and Reasoning courses, paired content classes, and advisor grading, and families who register for the full year during early registration lock in early pricing for both semesters.

Live class students need active access to the STAA Student Zone during the semester, either through your family’s annual enrollment or through the month-to-month Independent Study Option.
