Staying on top of semester reporting deadlines is an important part of your student's academic journey if your student is enrolled in the St. Thomas Aquinas Academy Diploma Program. We want to make these deadlines as clear as possible so you can plan ahead and avoid any last-minute stress!
The due dates are outlined on the SEMESTER REPORTING course page and are summarized here:
Semester 1 Reporting
Semester 1 Reporting: Submit all coursework completed as part of Semester 1 that is ready to report by February 28. The first-semester reporting forms, work samples, and gradebooks are due at the conclusion of the semester (December 31) and may be submitted until February 28 without incurring late fees. The Semester 1 academic calendar does not need to run the full length of the reporting period. February 28 is the last day to report work completed as part of Semester 1, but your actual academic calendar for the semester might run from the second week of August to the second week of December. With the February 28 due date, this gives an additional two months' leeway to submit reporting or accommodate a unique or delayed semester schedule.
Semester 2 Reporting
Semester 2 Reporting: Submit all coursework completed as part of Semester 2 that is ready to report by June 30. The second-semester reporting forms, work samples, and gradebooks are due at the conclusion of the semester (May 31) and may be submitted until June 30 without incurring late fees. Just like the previous semester, the Semester 2 academic calendar does not need to run the full length of the reporting period. June 30 is the last day to report work completed as part of Semester 2, but your actual academic calendar for the semester might run from the second week of January to Memorial Day in May. With the June 30 due date, this gives an additional month's leeway to submit reporting or accommodate a unique or delayed semester schedule.
Summer Reporting
Summer Reporting: Report summer work that does not belong on last year's Semester 2 transcript or this year's Semester 1 transcript. Summer reporting is optional. Summer reporting is due before September 30. St. Thomas Aquinas Academy does not usually suggest summer courses unless the student did not complete one of the essential, key courses during Semester 2.
Important Note: If you're concerned about missing these deadlines or need to submit work samples after the due dates, please review our comprehensive guide: "Can we submit work samples after the due date?"
This article covers late fees, extension procedures, and what steps to take if you've missed a deadline.
